Now toll the bells
that say we must part
one thing deep down I know
what forever becomes one
must thus forever remain.
Feelings tender and comely
Fill our hearts a brimful
and though the bells toll ceaselessly
heart beats of love drums on and on…
The weary heart of the mid-day sun
blazes fiercely on weary foreheads
travelers sigh, spitting dust
the journey is long,
but for home we long.
Mere words not carry
of hearts contented, exalted, delighted .
So to say gratitude for it all
Falls for below par
now toll the bells…”
This poem is from Kenya. It expresses the wedding bell, toll bells. Excitement rushes through the author from the love and happiness he has for the day. Forever they will remember each other, this poem tells love between a couple and how they are departing.
The drums beat symbolizes the heart beat of someone in love. They have a journey ahead that is bringing great things for them. They part with gratitude, and not forge each other they will love.
“The sky painted in dark misty blue
Heavy hearts, echoes in the dark
Chatters and wails embraces the
Now we wait, for questions in regards to
What did we do wrong?
What infact did we not do?
A harvest of tears, folded hands
A forced laughter from the back
Head on head, an inevitable collision
It was time, nobody could stop it
A bullet to the heart, a missed call
Its now a clouded moon with little light
We are lost on how the world works
Blurred is our judgement
Is it our time or its His time
We are just mere puppets
We brew in our anger , for we dont know
what happens next
Curiosity is what drives us to travel that sad
The knowledge of what happens next kills us
We want to know, but our ignorance
Forever we will remain in the dark
For the good Lord forgot to share some of
the secrets of life
So its forever a clouded moon hanging on
top of our heads.”

This poem symbolizes death. Why can’t we see death coming? Death will always come for every human being. And our friends and family will suffer from our death. Tears cover your eyes and you try to laugh to make everything better but it doesn’t come out. No one can stop death! When someone dies everything is sad and the sky goes a little dark.
In this poem it says curiosity kills us. Maybe you can die for trying to od something dangerous because you are curious. You never know! And forever you will mourn that person, even if you overcome that he passed away when you remember them you will be devastated.
